What are dark spots, sun spots, and age spots?
These spots are the result of excess production of melanin, or pigment, in your skin. They usually occur on sun-exposed areas of the skin. Natural aging, sun exposure (UV light exposure), and hormonses are all likely causes of these spots.
The most common areas of the body that these spots will occur:
- Back of the hands
- Upper back/Shoulders
Products that fade dark spots, sun spots, and age spots
DRMTLGY has several products that are clinically proven to fade dark spots, sun spots, and age spots quickly. Our combination of active ingredients, which includes hydroquinone and retinoids, provide noticeable differences in as little as 2 weeks of use.
Do these products permanently lighten pigmentation?
While our products dramatically lighten pigmentation, the results are not permanent. Your pigmentation might remain lighter than previous use of the product, but sun exposure and hormones may still contribute to the production excess melanin, resulting in pigmentation.
The most important part of treating pigmentation issues, and preventing them, is to wear ample sunscreen that both protects your skin from UVA and UVB rays.
